FlickrFan Event: Real World HDR Photography
December 21, 2009
"High Dynamic Range" photography, originally developed in the 1930s and 1940 as a specialized technique for making images with a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. This will be similar to the workshop that we held last February and the notes from the workshop may be downloaded using the link below.
Bring your camera (and a tripod if you like) and we will work on creating an HDR image from start to finish. We’ll be shooting in RAW and using Photomatix, demonstrating all of the the various controls and adjustments available in that software. Each participant will receive a 20% off code for the software during the workshop.
Models: This workshop is free to attend. We need one or two models (TFP)
There will also be a drawing for free camera and lighting equipment (worth at least $25) to be given away at each workshop (courtesy of Joe Farace – Shutterbug Magazine)
