This is a workshop focused on teaching you the foundation of the modeling business. Hosted by professional model Amanda Igaki (http://www.amandaigak…) and certified makeup artist Jett Middleton (http://www.modelmayhe…) and your organizer, Jack Dean. We will show you everything you need to know about building your portfolio, advertising, using the web (Model Mayhem, OMP, Facebook, etc) and how to use your creativity and to polish and refine your craft. You’ll learn about testing and we’ll tell you how to avoid bad photographers and prints that you cant use.
– A One on one Portfolio Session with where we will give your a constructive analysis of your portfolio, and help guide you in the right direction.
– An Open discussion about the business and personal experiences we have had that may help you avoid mistakes and awkward circumstances. A Question and Answer session will also take place.
– Individual Makeup Shoot. With a professional Make up artist.
– What You Can Expect From Your MUA
Whether you are a model, make-up artist, hair stylist or a photographer, in order to show case your work properly, you will need the collaboration of all the others involved. This meetup is targeted towards this mix with the aim of producing top quality, professional images for your portfolio.
This workshop is for both amateur and advanced models and photographers who are looking to bring their work to the next level.
